Who is the Bride of Christ?

Who is the "Bride of Christ"??
There is a misconception (bad doctrine) about this subject, when Christians these last 2,000 years have claimed to be the "Bride of Christ".
This is Israel, in the future.....the 144, 000 virgins Christ has claimed for Himself (HE was and IS a virgin, & his "bride" will be too!)
Christians who are "saved" (Romans 10:9) and indwelled by the Holy Spirit are "baptized" (a no water, spiritual operation only, or, "identified with Christ") into the BODY of Christ, "individual members of it";
see Ephesians 1:23 [from the neck down; Christ is the "head"]...."baptized" into the Body of Christ [we are part of the GROOM], NOT into the Body of the Bride.....scripture is quite clear about this.
Scripture's reference to a "spotless" bride (Christians) is a figure of speech, implying purity. Israel as the Bride of Christ is NOT a figure of speech, but very real & specific!
Therein lies the difference!
